XRE 860-R: ALL METALSUB QUALITIES IN A SMART VERSION
This latest type of XRE is the most compact Metalsub hand lamp, and yet a lot more powerful than its predecessors. Due to its compact size, this is a suitable backup lamp for, for example, cave divers, who would like to have an extra lamp that can take a beating. But due to its large light output of 850 lumen, this is of course also a perfect primary dive light.
This lamp weighs only 240 grams above water, making it ideal for air travel. In addition, for convenience, this dive light can be charged like a smartphone using the included USB cable.
Of course, this lamp is also a real Metalsub in everything: made of the best kind of aluminum, provided with a rock-solid anodizing layer that meets the strictest American military requirements and with a pressure relief valve to discharge any excess battery gas.
PROPERTIES
- The front glass is made of hardened glass and the reflector is designed in such a way that it produces a nice, even spot beam.
- Like all Metalsub lamps, this lamp is also dimmable between 10 and 100% and equipped with a possibility to emit an SOS light signal.
- This lamp is equipped with an NMC battery, which makes it rechargeable. It will burn for 1.5 hours on a full charge.
- With the included compact charger, the lamp is fully charged in up to 4 hours.
- This lamp is usable to a depth of 100 meters (and tested to 150 meters).
- NEW: Using the included USB cable, this lamp can be charged like a smartphone.
