Until recently, we thought that coral reefs only occur in warm tropical waters. That turns out to be incorrect. Hidden coral reefs lie at great depths in the Atlantic Ocean. In cold water at a depth of 1000 to 3000 meters! There is one place in the world where these corals occur at diveable depths. Bas Poelmann, Fiona van Doorn and Melvin Redeker traveled there and explored.
