OCEAN REEF takes wireless underwater communication to the next level again. With the GSM Mercury you have a double speaker system with a choice of two communication channels, volume control on 3 levels and "Hands Free mode" so that you do not have to press the transmit key (PTT) when you speak. The digital system comes with a 3.2 Lion battery with USB charging cable for 25 – 30 hours of use and a charging time of 1 hour.
The GSM Mercury unit is mounted on the EXTENDER FRAME which is standard mounted on a SPACE EXTENDER or PREDATOR EXTENDER Mask. If you want to mount the GSM Mercury on a G.Divers mask, you also have to purchase an EXTENDER FRAME.
The two ear cups both have an underwater speaker, so that the sound can be heard on both ears. The ear cups with speaker can easily be folded inwards. This simplifies storage in a bag during transport. Digital technology has contributed to improved sound quality.
